C’MON MATT – help us support Matthew Bradshaw as he is shortlisted for Deaf Personality of the Year

We’re pleased to see Matt Bradshaw has been shortlisted for the prestigious UK Deaf Personality of the Year award. 

Matt lost his hearing at age four. He started playing golf with his dad aged 11 alongside cricket, football, and American football. Matt started taking lessons at Trafford Golf Centre around the age of 12 years old and from 14, he dedicated himself to golf. 

Now 31, Matt currently plays off a scratch Handicap as a member of Ellesmere Golf Club. He has recently captained England’s Deaf Golf team at the European Championships in Sweden in 2018. In 2021, he won the England Deaf Golf Spring event. This year, he has represented England in Hawaii at the Deaf Golf World Championships whilst taking the win at the England Deaf Golf Autumn event, second place at the England Deaf Golf Open Event 2022 and third place at England Deaf Golf Spring Event 2022. 

He also has a degree in Politics and International Relations, is a Chartered Accountant as well as being the treasurer of England Deaf Golf.
